Disclaimer

This disclaimer explains the scope and limitations of this site’s documentation, purchase guidance and configuration examples. Use the official guide in light of your device, the app interface and current App Store information.

1. Site purpose and scope

This is the Shadowrocket official site and guide. It provides guidance on verifying the official app, purchasing and getting started, as well as importing existing subscriptions, configuring rules and troubleshooting. This disclaimer applies to the instructions and examples published here. It does not replace App Store purchase terms or agreements between users and their connection service providers.

Shadowrocket is a closed-source commercial app. These notes focus on iPhone and iPad, which are a one-time App Store purchase. Mac, Windows, Android, and Linux are free. Refer to the App Store listing for system requirements and purchase availability. Explanations of app procedures on this site do not guarantee suitability for any particular network environment, connection outcome or business use.

2. Subscriptions and connection service responsibilities

This site does not provide, sell or recommend nodes or subscriptions. Instructions involving Subscribe or Add Server assume that you already have your own subscription or server details. You are responsible for verifying their source, your authorization to use them, their validity period and the applicable service terms. Purchasing the app does not provide credentials for a connection service.

A one-time app purchase is not a connection plan. The purchase does not include server resources, network bandwidth or subscription renewals. For expired subscriptions, deactivated servers or changes to server-side settings, follow the terms of your existing service. Changing app settings cannot restore a connection service that has ended.

3. Content accuracy and operational risks

Tutorials reflect the app interface at the time they were written. Layouts, field locations and available options may change between versions. Interface labels such as Home, Config and Settings are kept in English for easier reference. If the steps do not match your screen, first confirm which page you are on and what each field means; do not proceed based on field position alone.

Configuration examples explain syntax and how settings relate to one another; they are not complete configurations for every device. Rule order and Global Routing or On Demand settings may affect traffic routing and connection behavior. Save your original configuration before making changes, adjust one setting at a time and verify the results. Diagnostic results reflect conditions at the time of testing and do not guarantee ongoing availability.

We aim to keep the information on this site accurate, but cannot guarantee that every item will always be complete, current or suitable for every situation. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses arising from reliance on outdated instructions, incorrectly entered parameters or configurations unsuitable for your environment.

5. Responsible use and finding help

Configure and use Shadowrocket in accordance with applicable laws and the rules governing the networks you use. Keep subscription URLs, server credentials and configuration files secure. When consulting instructions or documenting an issue, avoid sharing links, QR codes or logs that contain access credentials.

For help with app procedures, start with the tutorials and frequently asked questions, then follow the checks on each page to narrow down the cause. This disclaimer does not exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, or affect any rights you may have under that law. Refer to the text published on this page and the updated month at the top for the latest revisions.
